Jesus and Muhammed paper

Most historians agree that Jesus and Muhammed have influenced the world more than any two men in our world. Their words have been used by Nations to lay the foundation of law and culture. The beliefs of at least half the world can be traced back to Jesus’ words in the 1st century and Muhammed’s words in the 7th century. It is believed that half of the people in the world today have beliefs rooted from these men’s teachings. Who are these men and why do they have so much influence hundreds of years after their deaths?

The Lives of Jesus & Muhammed

Jesus was born around 6 B. C. in a stable in the little Palestinian village of Bethlehem. Born of a ‘Blessed” virgin God sent Gabriel, an angle of God, to proclaim Jesus was the “Son of the most High” and the “Savior of Men”. The birth of Jesus happen to be at the time most Jews were looking for the Messiah the Hebrew Prophets had spoken of hundreds of years before.

Jesus lived in the Galilean town of Nazareth where he worked as a carpenter as his Father (his Earthly Father) had before Him. It wasn’t until the age of 30 He began His ministry by teaching God’s word with an authority that awed many and was feared by many in the beginning. His sinless life of moral purity amazed followers as well as enemies.

He astound followers and enemies by turning water into wine, walking o n the water, calming the stormy seas, giving sight to the blind, healing paralyzed limbs and the seriously ill, and brought the dead back to life(one several days after dying). Not only were great miracles performed by Jesus there were also words do profound it was often said that no man had ever spoken like that. Jesus’ words were spoken with authority and showed excellent knowledge of human insight. Jesus claimed His words were the words of God himself.
