INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. Time - 35 minutes (inclusive of all reading time) + 5 minute extension for all students.

2. Attempt TWO of the three questions.

3. This test is to be conducted under closed book conditions. Only writing implements and a calculator with a non text recallable memory are permitted in the examination room. No other papers or books are permitted.

4. Write between 250 and 300 words on each question.

5. Each question is worth ten (10) marks.

6. Including this cover page, there are 6 pages. All pages of this test paper must be handed up intact. Papers that are not handed up intact will be void and count for zero.

7. It is believed that ample room is provided for the types of answers required, however if candidates require more room for answer writing than is provided, please use the back of the pages.

8. Students will be given the higher of the mark for this test or question 2 in the final exam.
