Abstract

The purpose of this service request is to analyze the human resources infrastructure that Riordan Manufacturing has in place. The current system that is in place was installed in 1992. It currently keeps track of information such as: personal information (name, address, marital status, birth date, etc.), rate of pay, tax exemptions, date of hire, time in service, departmental information, and vacation/time information.

The end result of the analysis is to design and implement a proposal that will integrate the state-of-the-art human resources systems and tools of today into a single, user-friendly application. This unified application will then be used by all the Riordan Manufacturing Plant locations, which includes San Jose, California,- Albany, Georgia, - Pontiac, Michigan and Hangzhou, China.
