Vending Machines

There’s a major problem in the U.S. with obesity and poor nutrition, and there will continue to be if we don’t begin to implement better eating habits within our country. Almost, everywhere you go such as schools, waiting rooms, workplaces, designated waiting areas there are vending machines all around and within them are some of the most unhealthiest snacks. This is a problem, that needs to be addressed and rectified so that we can begin to promote healthier eating. We are very much aware of the fact that vending machines provide a convenience for those who desire a quick snack however they offer foods like candy, cookies, chips all these items that have endless calories instead of a much more nutritious selection. By providing vending machines with a much more nutritious option people are able to make much healthier selection in regards to their eating habits. People tend to crave what they see and buy off urge especially when hungry. By starting with these machines people would begin to be conscious of what they are putting into their bodies. All lot of people don’t consider the harm that their doing to their bodies by making bad eating choices until it’s too late and usually by then their dealing with things like high blood pressure, diabetes etc… by this time your body has taken a beating and there’s issues such as over weight. This could all be controlled if we as people were more educated and given the option to make better choices. Vending machines would definitely be the start of awareness in our communities. Unfortunately, more than half of Americans eat their meals outside the home, so if their eating on the run and all there is to offer is unhealthy on-the-go snack choices then most likely that’s exactly what will be chosen, but if we as a community begin to switch gears and direct our efforts towards a better, more healthier way of living by creating positive eating habits we could possibly begin to control the obesity and poor...
