In every organizational culture there are easily recognizable aspects, that when observed, a strong or weak culture can be identified. The aspects that are going to be discussed include how communication flows within an organization, conflict management, and organizational policies. Organizations with “strong cultures” operate with a clear vision of the future that is supported by well-developed and well-communicated beliefs and values. (Schermerhorn, Hunt, & Osborn, 2011.)
Organizational behavior
Organizational behavior is the study of human behavior in organizations. It is an academic discipline devoted to understanding individual and group behavior, interpersonal processes, and organizational dynamics with the goal of improving the performance of organizations and the people in them. (Schermerhorn, Hunt, & Osborn, 2011.) Learning about organizational behavior helps create a better work-related understanding of yourself and the others around you.
