1. What good or service does your firm produce?

Coca Cola company produces carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks and sales it worldwide to more than 200 countries.

2. What are some factors that would cause a change in demand for this good/service? How does quantity demanded of this good/service change?

Coca Cola has faced much criticism from consumers, media, and other countries, due to speculation that Coca Cola company was using unfair labor practices, possible health effects of the product, and even being involved with paramilitary organizations in order to suppress trade unions. So, knowing this, the demand for the product became less and many investors/shareholders got worried.

Coca Cola found a way to enhance its quantity demanded by focusing on making or adding newer soft drinks that were health conscious, provided nutritional information, and some cases, were label caffeine free.

3. Give some examples of changes in supply in the context of your good. What would change the quantity supplied?

Quantity supplied around the world will depend on what the state the economy is in. If it thriving, then people/consumers will have the money to buy more to the product and help Coca Cola company reap in the benefits (profit). Another would be research on buy patterns in regards to social trends or pin point areas that has a strong desire for its product. Good example would be Coca Cola advertising or making commercials of their products that caters to the busy individuals or targets a younger generation. Coca-Cola using cutting edge technology that cost less to operate in the production of making cans to distribute its products worldwide.

4. Take a look at the stock price today. Compare this price to the price about three months ago?

Looking at Coca Cola stock three months ago went from 66.30 a share to 67.57 a share today. It stayed relatively the same. The small change probably do to economic conditions, no new media reports in regards to stock...
