I have been given the opportunity to be an intern for Club IT. Club IT is a music venue downtown that is owned and managed by Ruben Leys and Lisa Tejada. They have both graduated with degrees in Business Administration and decided to follow their dreams of opening a nightclub. Ruben and Lisa have hired me to help analyze and establish their information technology, data management and decision making abilities.
Mission
“We, Ruben and Lisa, offer you live music, DJ’s, dance space and refreshments that suit you lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT.”
This mission represents a friendly atmosphere that welcomes all that wish to be at Club IT. The mission promises entertainment and an enjoyable experience. I also see within the mission that Ruben and Lisa want to create and maintain a regular clientele. By the statement, “You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT,” it is portrayed that Ruben and Lisa are looking to satisfy their clientele so well that they will continue to come back to Club IT and be regulars at the club. They are striving to form a close knit clientele where everyone knows everyone.
Primary Clientele
Club IT’s primary clientele are music lovers and lovers that can appreciate all different types of music. Club IT’s main focus is on the 21 and older crowd but by the focus of music the club is more accommodating to the 20’s, early 30’s crowd. The club is centered around the music that is being played which for the most part seems to be hip-hop, techno, electronic, etc. Now according to the calendar provided each month provides a different type and style of music, however, the majority of the months are focused on the younger crowd.
