Today was our first Business Strategy class. The professor (Aj Tanai) began the class by introducing himself and told us about his background. Then, he asked each student to introduce ourselves. Surprisingly, this is my first class that there are more exchange students than Thai students! No wonder, there will be lots of opinion exchanging as well as asking and answering questions during the class, so I have decided that I will try my best to participate in this session!

I really like the atmosphere of this class. There is no gap between the professor and the students. Aj Tanai always tried to encourage and motivate students to speak up. The best thing about this class is that, like Aj Tanai said, there was no right or wrong for business strategy. Therefore, all students are more willing to openly share their point of views.

Since it was our first day of the class, Aj Tanai informed us about his rules and criterias. After that we learned some introduction and key concept of business strategies. Aj Tanai taught by giving many examples of the successful companies. This helped us to understand and see the overall picture of the content easily.

Sadly, at the end of the class he gave us one-page homework which we have to pick two companies in the same service in order to compare and contrast their business models. Let’s keep finger cross for me to finish the task correctly and in time!!!

So as to support each five strategy, he gave several examples which helped us see a much clearer picture and understanding of the concept.

The ‘P’ that I Iike most is perspective. In order to achieve this P, we have to think beyond...
