Introduction
The present report is about the Coopers’ beer in Australia, the purpose is to identify the internal and external environment factors and also the key opportunities in Singapore.
Coopers Brewery Ltd. is an unlisted private company engaged in the brewing of beer and also specialises in natural conditioned beers, lagers and a variety of Home brew & malt products. It is a brewery that is still family owned and they have gone down through five generations now from its’ origins in 1862 to the present day.
The study is based on successful local Australian made product, consequently the probability to be profitable in a foreign country is quite reasonable.
Methodology
The research is going to be based on secondary data sources outside of the company by Internet. The information will be selected and afterwards the product, business and environment analysis will be examined. It will also provide detailed SWOT and identification of key opportunities.
The conclusion will be supported by facts analysis and finally the recommendations, based on business opportunities and potential product.
As an overseas country, the place chosen is Singapore. Australia and Singapore signed an agreement with the elimination of all tariffs from entry into force, including the Australian beer and stout. In addition to tariff elimination, the agreement improves increased market access for Australian exporters of services. It also provides a more open and predictable business environment across a range of areas, including competition policy, government procurement, intellectual property, e-commerce, customs procedures and business travel.
