Employee Privacy, Play script 1

People: Employee*3 (Elena, Flora, and Cindy), Whistle Blower (Eric), Boss*1

Place: Pantry

Take 1

Scene: Three female employees are in the pantry, complaining about their boss.

Elena: How is going, Flora?

Flora: Not so good. What a mean boss! I was just 5 minutes late today and that demon cut my bonus!

(Eric comes by, hearing their words. He is surprised by their words and then takes out his mobile phone to record their words.)

Elena: Oh, really? I am so sorry about that dear. He is so mad.

Cindy: Yeah! I am not surprised about that. Last week I suffered from the same thing and you know, I was just late for 1 minute! And he gave me the same punishment!

Flora: Really? That is inhumane! When I reached the office in the morning, I saw he holding the stop watch in front of the door and smile to me, “My dear Flora, you are late!”

Elena: That’s not enough! Last week I came here very early and do you know what I saw?

Cindy: What?

Elena: I saw Helen ran out of his office with messy hair and tears in her eyes!

Flora: Really? Oh my god! What happened? Did they have sex?

Elena: I don’t think so. She is about to cry!

Flora: So, she must be harassed by that demon.

Cindy: Oh, no wonder that she got promotion today. So you mean that it is a compensation?

Elena: Exactly.

(Elena found someone is outside the door.)

Elena: Shh, someone is there. Go!

(All of the women went away.)

Take 2

Scene: The boss is working in the office and Eric is knocking at door.

Boss: Come in

Employee: Hi, Boss.

Boss: What’s up?

Employee: I’ve got something for you.

Boss: Really?

(Eric takes out his mobile phone and play the tape he gets from the pantry room.)

Employee: Just Listen

(The boss listens to the tape and is irritated by the record. He is shouting in the office)

Boss: Enough!!! They will be fired. They do not need to come tomorrow.
