There is three different ways Robert Sternburg came up with three ways to experience love. The three different ways are intimacy, passion, and commitment. Intimacy is the friendship of sharing and or bonding. This would mean a person who you can share certain information with and trust then with it. As a child you wouldn’t know much about trust unless it is being taught to you. After a child knows about trust they can begin to bond with certain people and look for signs. Passion is the romantic or physical element of love including sexual attraction. This is w last hen two people pass the intimacy stage and further the relationship. As a younger person you grow feelings for the opposite sex. As you grew older your wisdom is is a different level of picking and choosing. It can take you longer to find a person attractive, and great personality than when you were younger. This can mean different of expressing how much you like them. Physical can go into mixed feeling on whether you really want to romance the person or your just into them because how your are attracted to them. Commitment is a combination of the three. You have to have developed a relationship on friendship, bonding, and trust (intimacy) for to you get to commitment. After intimacy you would lead towards having feelings, finding yourself more attracted to them than before or sexually attractive (passion). You have to build a good relationship or foundation to start with and build your way up. After you have a good foundation next would be passion getting a more understanding and know how to deal with the new feeling or feelings. Commitment would be the last or ending phase. As a younger child you would see commitment as a promise between two people that’s kindhearted to one another. As an adult commitment is a life time promise; it can be a mutual feeling of love between the two people who has decided to ay together.
