To Drill or Not To Drill

I agree more to the side that says the change to new power source is expensive and unnecessary. Changing to the new power source will be more beneficial to the planet but with the majority of the world’s population dependent on oil and fuel burning the new power source will take too long to catch up to what has already been figured out with burning and will cost the taxpayers more money. One of the key habits that I have with this issue is that I have become accustomed to using things that are a result of coal burning. I drive a gas burning car and I rely on technology for everyday living. Even though I get fairly good gas mileage, solar powered cars are the echo friendly alternative. I also use a lot of modern technology. Most of the modern technology I own has been manufactured in a factory. I feel that people would be set back if they changed to the new power source. To overcome some of these habits that hinder my thinking I can do more research on the issues and see exactly how far along the “new power source” is coming. I can also find out the pros and cons of the issues as well. I can also try to use some of the new energy techniques. Like carpooling or walking to places I need to go. I have heard and seen the new energy power sources, but they don’t seem to be holding up. I recently passed the hills near Palm Springs whit all the windmills. I drove by and noticed a lot of them were not working and a lot of them had been taken down. Maybe they are rebuilding somewhere else.
