Albatross Travel -- Work and Travel USA

The service

In this paper I will discuss the service the company ¨Albatross Travel¨, which I own together with some friends, will introduce to the Albanian market in January 2011. Our company has recently been registered with the Albanian authorities and the service it will offer is called ¨Work and Travel¨. Starting in the summer of 2011 we will only offer the ¨Work and Travel USA¨ service. We believe our company will be a successful one, and we expect that after a couple of years we will be able to offer other ¨Work and Travel¨ programs to other developed countries such as the UK, Australia, Canada etc. ¨Work and Travel USA¨ is a program which gives university students who study full-time in Albanian universities the opportunity to work in the United States for up to 6 months in a year. Usually Albanian students have a longer break from school during the summer, so we expect that the students interested in this program will go the US to work and travel during the summer.

The procedure from applying for the program up to the issuance of the US visa (a J1 one) takes a couple of months so we will start advertising our offer and collect applications since January 2011 for students interested in the summer 2011 edition.

The following are components of the company´s brand:

• The service: Work and Travel USA

• Brand Name of the Service: Albatross Travel

• Assign Trade Mark/ Logo for the same. (It is displayed on the top left side of the page.)

• Assign punch line and Slogan for the same: Fly farther

The reason why the brand name is simply ¨Albatross Travel¨ and not ¨Albatross Travel Work and Travel USA¨ is that in the future the company, ¨Albatross Travel¨, wants to offer other ¨Work and Travel¨ programs to other countries so including the ¨Work and Travel USA¨ in our company name, would limit us to offers only to the US – this name would be misleading for other work and travel destinations.
