SUBJECT: Manager Behavior In The Workplace

Team,

Congratulation, because of everyone hard work and efforts the merger with EnviroTech, is in the execution stage. David Spencer, president and CEO, InterClean, Inc has stated, “Over the next four months, we will be working to merge about 60 EnviroTech sales staff and operations specialists into the InterClean structure. This will roughly coincide with the launching of our major media blitz to announce our new service focus” (University of Phoenix, 2009, p. 4). First business of order is to restate how important each of you is to the organization. I want to take a few moments of everyone time to discuss managers behavior in the workplace. A manager behavior affects productive, attitudes, behavior, attendance, and accuracy. Employees tend to be more motivated and energetic with positive role models. Managers who set the example maintain a higher percentage because employees are more eager and willing to come into work. Several elements should be mull over while conversing about the manager actions and how he or she will affect workers efficiency and professionalism. Attendance plays a vital role for any manager, not only do employees needs to come to work, he or she should want to. Manager personal conduct can affect a working environment. Bringing unhealthy personal concerns into the place of work interrupts the sense of balance and value of the complete group. Favoritism is another issue that can contaminate a workplace. Assigning duties in an unfair or favorable manner can cause conflict among employees. If one employee believes he or she is assigned more work than other employees without cause; this can become an issue. On the other hand if the manager is flirting...
