There are various agencies that combine in order to make up a government. These agencies vary in terms of work tasked to do. A prime arm of any government is the arm tasked with the security of the citizens and the nation as a whole. The most vital agency that is under the security arm of the government is the intelligence agency. The task given to an intelligence agency is to aid security services in ensuring order in the country through the gathering of intelligence.

The government of Argentina contains an intelligence wing tasked with the collection of intelligence information that aids the nation in making national and foreign policies. The main wing of the Argentine intelligence agency is the secretaria de inteligencia headed by the secretary of state intelligence. The Argentine nation has suffered a lot of political instability from the time they gained their independence from Spain. This endemic conflict between the government and the military continued until the year 1946.
