ISIC Provisional Licensed Authority (PLA) – Information for Applicants

What is needed to apply? The usual process for a new partner to work with ISIC is to first become an Appointed Office (AO) in a territory. This helps to become familiar with ISIC; to gain experience and to build a strong network of local discounts and benefits. ISIC Central Office highly recommends new partners to follow this process as it is considerably faster to become an Appointed Office and start trading than becoming a Provisional Licensed Authority. In order for a partner to grow its commitment with ISIC, an application can be made to become a Provisional Licensed Authority (PLA), the result of which leads to exclusive distribution rights and obligations. Applications are only possible if there is a vacancy for the territory which can be verified by contacting ISIC Central Office in Amsterdam: sales@wysetc.org How to apply? When interest is expressed by an organisation in a market where the position of a Licensed Authority is vacant or is going to be vacant, the applicant is required to deliver a robust and well thought out business plan - see Annex about Business Plan Requirements at the end of this document. This business plan together with a completed application matrix needs then to be send to ISIC’s Central Office. When applying for the PLA status, the applicant(s) automatically agree(s) to accept the decision of the ISIC Central Office. All applications are to be submitted by email to sales@wysetc.org. A deadline for submissions will be made clear and all complete documentation is to be received by the stated deadline.
