Mexican Resturaunts in Dodge City, Ks

The Hispanic culture in Dodge City, KS is alive an growing and that means more great tasting food! From Tamales, Carne Asada tacos, and burritos; you can't go wrong. I will give you a review of where to go and what's best on the menu!

First off, Breakfast. The most important meal of the day, as some researchers quote. For my breakfasts, I love El Potrero Restaurante which is located at 605 S 2nd Ave, Dodge City, KS. The location is a little shady, meaning lock your doors, however the food is awesome. I would suggest going into the restaurant instead of their drive thru, because all of there food is made to order. When your in there, ask for their breakfast burrito, it is served all day. You can fix it to your likings, my favorite burrito contains Huevos, papas, frijoles y queso (Eggs, Potato, beans, and cheese). The burritos are humongous, and the price is to one well liking; a breakfast burrito usually costs around $4.50 at El Potrero. 5 Stars!

Moving onto lunch, now, from the location again, its a little shady. However, this food, there's just no description of how awesome this food tastes. Taco Jaliscos; it is located at 412 E Wyatt Earp Blvd, Dodge City, KS. This is real Mexican food, and done right. When you tell them taco's you don't get a hard shell taco, you get the authentic, double corn tortilla with Carne asada (beef), or Chicken. So you might have a little clue on what to order now. I recommend the Carne asada taco, you can get 4 tacos for $5, seems like alot, but there is alot of meat involved here. However, if you are looking to get full order the number one on the menu. The number one is a burrito, again Carne asada or Chicken, and it comes with a taco, and rice and beans. This is no joke, real Mexican food. However, this burrito is "MASSIVE". You can purchase the burrito by itself if you prefer for $4. Again, prices are reasonable for the amount of meat involved. Another 5 stars goes to this restaurant.
