Club IT

In the previous weeks I have frequently been a guest at Club It in an attempt to gain more knowledge about the business, the owners, and the overall operations of the club. This is a fairly new business that has been open long enough that it was able to build a small customer base as well as starts to generate a profit. This is an assessment of the current status of the information systems already used as well as ideas for new or upgraded systems in addition to ideas for enhancing the information management potential. I will discuss the area’s that need attention because they are preventing the club from evolving into a more thriving enterprise. I plan on sharing the idea’s that I have for the club that will help them to utilize their technological resources in ways that will benefit them greatly.

Club It, Pt. 2

Club It is a rapidly growing nightclub. It has made wise choices thus far with their technological choices and has the ability to become one of the trendiest spots in the nightlife circuit. Having the opportunity to spend time at the club while it was in full swing allowed me to gain a perspective into the club, the guests, the atmosphere, and what idea’s I will be able to contribute to help the growth and success of Club It. Just from looking around, I could see that the club required a system that would allow for enterprise resource planning (ERP). This would allow all of the different departments to access data from other departments more effectively. The company could also use a customer relationship management system. This is important because this is still a new and expanding company. They do have a small customer base already but there is more that can be done to encourage and keep more clientele. They could also use updated customer relationship management and supply chain management to better assist them with reaching their goals.
