Dear Store Managers:

In an effort to combat rising gas prices ABC Retail Co. store operations will change beginning April 1, 2011 . Stores will open an hour later and close an hour earlier Monday through Saturday. Stores will no longer open on Sundays. Full-time employees, including managers, will work four 10-hour days a week. Part-time employees will consolidate their hours in 1-, 2-, or 3-day workweeks, depending on how many hours they are scheduled to work. We are confident these changes will benefit the company, managers, and employees. The company saves money on gas and operational expenses, which ensures survival of ABC Retail Co.
