Observation

The location of this observation is a restaurant and bar in Wilton Manors outside patio. The patio allows a conversation, and offers alcohol beverages and smoking, so it is a more relaxed atmosphere. The subject is of this observation are three men sitting in a booth on the patio. The three men are older guessing somewhere in the mid-to late 60s the men were dressed casually, and do not appear to have a time constraint or a specific agenda. They seem to be friends and at the very least acquaintances. They are familiar with each other, and have a common or mutual interest in each other well being.

The individuals were close in age, and body adornment, wore only watches and glasses, but no other jewelry was noted. The clothing for the one individual who was the single, he wore jeans, and polo shirt. The other two men wore longer sleeve shirts or coats to cover up for chilly weather they may perceive could happen. The clothing of the two gentlemen which may have been a couple wore what would be assumed as something a Florida native couple would have worn. The other indication of the clothing was the men have money, and can afford to buy nicer clothes with a name brand. The clothes also say that the men are more relaxed with their clothing choices, with linen, and a sweater vest. This also confirms a older person, usually sweater vests are not worn by someone from earlier generations, this item, was probably bought at a much earlier time in his life.

The appearances of the individuals revealed it was a casual meeting no tie or dress shirt was observed. The clothing was linen, sweaters, jeans, polo, and light weight clothing. They were meeting over dinner, and having a conversation about a mutual topic of some importance.

The nonverbal and verbal communication, were a congruent match mostly. The only time I noticed and difference in the...
