We came to this institution four years ago not only to enhance our grasp for knowledge, but open a new chapter in our lives to transcend the so called High School life. Now, we are standing here filled with memories truly saying that High School is the best chapter in our lives. To our distinguished guests of honor, 1st Lt. Geraldine Abigail Hallar, our esteemed president Dr. Miriam E. Pascua, fellow graduates, proud parents, beloved friends, and dear mentors, good afternoon.

I have encountered countless books during my high school life, but there is one book so interesting and astonishing. It is a book of journey, a book of adventure and a book of values. I call this book, "Starting My Life".

I, as the main character, started off my journey equipped only with the value of COURAGE: courage to make every step forward onto my unknown destiny, courage to make every wise decision on my own, and courage to face every challenging obstacle I encounter. Yet I alone cannot finish my journey without the help of others. This is where I met characters playing several roles and offering new options!

My family, as the source of everlasting support and inspiration, are the next important characters of this book. They have taught me the values of Desire, Determination and Discipline which lead to EXCELLENCE. Ever since I began life in this world, they were always there giving the finishing touches in everything I do, and have always made me the best that I could be.

Thus, to our proud parents who brought us into this world, we thank you for all your efforts, love and attention you’ve given us all these years. We have lived a harsh life hearing your sermons but we realize that yours are much more stressful because you have to formulate a new homily just so it won’t sound redundant to our ears.
