The aim of this essay is to assess the impact on the operations of international firms of the

domestic business environment of a country, where we have selected Malaysia as the focus of our study. We will be discussing an overview of Foreign Direct Investment and Malaysia government’s decision to open its door for foreign investment as part of their economic reform.
