Principals of Faith

Within in the United States of America and the world, there are many Christian denominations of Religion. Each of those denominations can have minor differences to suit that region or culture. There are some core foundations that we will look at that make up Christian faith. How did the Christian religion transition from the Jewish religion prior to Jesus and what it transformed into after Jesus death. How was Jesus human and yet divine in nature. What is the meaning behind the sacraments of religion, how do they differ within denominations and their biblical basis. I will look at how Jesus was defined in the context of the Trinity. What are the biblical teachings on salvation? We will summarize the nature of authority of the Christian church and its approach to solving some of today’s modern problems. The foundations that I will cover are what allow a church to build itself up as a Christian church bringing glory to Jesus.

When Jesus came into the ministry at thirty three years of age he fundamentally changed the way religion was viewed. We read throughout the Bible that the Jews were Gods “chosen” people. If they were his chosen ones then the natural question that comes to mind would be how their method of religion could be so different from what Jesus said or did. Jesus was born and grew up with Jewish parents. There are some similarities and differences between the Jewish traditions and the New Testament Christian church....
