1. How would creating a new position between the CEO and the location managers help the business to grow?

Creating a job between CEO and line managers help business to grow many ways, it lessen the burden on CEO. Most of CEO responsibilities would be delegated to the middle manager. Middle manager will communicate back and forth between CEO and line managers. The CEO and middle managers decisions help business grow. Their ability to rise above the daily details and decide where the industry and business is headed Help Company tremendously.

2. Is promoting an existing manager the best option to fill this position? If not, what is an alternative source to fill the position?

I believe Lei and Dalman should promote existing manager to fill this position because they know the company well. Secondly, by given information in the video, it obvious the managers within the company are doing great job. Lei and Dalman should look for skilled managers within the company; they should also look for their decision-making, influence on people, communication, strategic input, accountability for results, domain expertise, level of education and experience based on their management level. Lei and Dolman have all the information for managers within the company, they just have to select the best among them.

3. Who within the company should make these decisions?

Well, after watching the conversation between Lei and Dalman, It is understood that Dalamn is busy assisting the location managers. So, Lei is the one who can make company decision at the moment.
