Charles Darwin stated, “Survival of the fittest is about adaptability to a changing environment and new competitive realities.” Because the technology industry is a constant changing and competitive environment, Synergetic Solutions Inc is a company that has learned how to endure and adapt to constant change. Employing about 300 employees, higher level management are put in a position to make sure the organization as a whole and its employees are flexible and able to adapt to change in order to remain competitive in this cut throat industry. Therefore, what internal and external forces of change does this organization face when placed in an environment that is constantly changing? What strategy models might these leaders implement in their organization that is successful? What resistance might they encounter and how do they overcome them? These are questions that higher level management in Synergetic Solutions must answer to ensure that they have an organization that can adapt to change. Throughout this analysis of the concerning changes at Synergetic Solutions, we will focus on these questions, which will give us an understanding how changes affect an organization like Synergetic Solutions.

Change in an organizational structure is an attempt to alter the organization’s alignment with its environment. Harold Redd, CEO of Synergetic Solutions, attempted to stay aligned with the constant changing technology environment by making forays into the network solutions business of designing and implementing complex computing network. Because of this specific focus of the business there are several internal and external forces that can create change in this organization
