Concentration Consideration

Concentration consideration of Kudler Fine Foods will reveal appealing concentration of issues identified and the creation of a problem and a solution to the problem. Given is a relationship to the issues at Kudler Fine Foods (University of Phoenix, 2011).

Kathy Kudler was a controlling micro manager. Despite her micro management, Kathy built three food stores. Kathy had issues like any business can encounter, Kathy more than others. Planning, organizing, controlling, and leadership are management function that every manager should possess. Kathy Kudler did a very good job despite her controlling nature to accomplish these management functions. Kathy had a vision and she worked hard, sometimes too hard to fulfill her vision. In order for Kathy to continue to survive, she will need to implement organizing by delegating more responsibilities. When Kathy decides to open more stores better planning will need to take place. Kathy will still maintain control but she need to relinquish a little of the control. Kathy needs to learn how to be a good leader to pass the ability on to others. Kathy also need to be fully aware of her strengths and go with them and recognize her weaknesses and improve on them (University of Phoenix, 2003, p. 1).

Conclusion

In conclusion one can relate to Kathy Kudler because one has a relative who owns a restaurant and is a micro manager. When he wants to go on vacation, he does not make money because he closes the business down instead of trusting other to run the business for him and continue to earn money. His business is successful and people come from all over the world and his famous barbeque sauce has gone all over the world. One must learn to trust other and train others well and business will survive and thrive well when the owner is not around (P. Boyce, personal communication, February 23, 2011).
