Sun Zi Bing Fa - The Art of War, also known as Sun Wu’s Military Science, was written by Sun Wu during the late Spring and Autumn period. There are 13 chapters composed in Sun Zi Art of War, which included Chapter 1: Detailed Assessment and Planning, Chapter 2: Waging War, Chapter 3: Strategic Attack, Chapter 4: Disposition of the Army, Chapter 5: Forces, Chapter 6: Weaknesses and Strength, Chapter 7: Military Maneuvers, Chapter 8: Variations and Adaptability, Chapter 9: Movement and Deployment of Troops, Chapter 10: Terrain, Chapter 11: The Nine Battle Ground, Chapter 12: Attacking with fire and lastly Chapter 13: Intelligence and Espionage.

The Art of War is the most successful books on military strategy in the world. It gives big impact on the strategies, statesmen and thinkers of all dynasties. Not only that, all the strategies and philosophical thoughts that stated in The Art of War by Sun Wu are very useful. Therefore, they have been commonly used in today’s society. Those strategies and tactics that have been introduced by Sun Zi are been applied to business and managerial strategies directly or indirectly by people nowadays. For examples, it has been widely used in variety of fields such as in economy by the businessmen, politics by the politician, and also in military affairs by military government.
