Skills needed by managers.

To put in a nutshell, the management skills and the ability of someone make him or her to be a good manager. The four fundamental managerial skills matter most which is conceptual skills, interpersonal skills, technical skills and political skills. Effective managerial skills make a good manager. Apple is a company that enormously successful, and it just keeps on winning. It is a company with a corporate culture that is mainly focused on engineer, emphasizes minimal bureaucracy and likes taking care of its people.

The conceptual skills are the ability to think analytically. Apple management always challenges their employees to grow. Sachin Agarwal, a ex-engineer in the Apple Company for 6 years before he quit the job to start the simple blogging platform have said that Apple would really like to challenge their employees to think and manage the projects that were a little beyond their capabilities. However Apple’s employees learned. The engineer instead of the manager in the company will have to analysis the complex situation or the projects. Apple trains the employees’ mental capacity to conceive and manipulate ideas and abstract relationship by giving the chances to everyone of doing the harder tasks. Apple wants them to understand and complete the tasks with the conceptual skills to think analytically how the parts work together.

Interpersonal skills or also know as human skills is the ability to interact well with people. A manager must be able to understand, work with and relate to both individuals and groups to build a team environment. Apple is one of the world’s coolest companies. But there is one cool-company trend it has rejected: chatting with the world through blogs and dropping tidbits of information about its inner workings.
