Global Warming

Global Warming is rise in the average temperature of the Earth caused by the emission of various Green House gases.

Green House gases like Carbon dioxide, Methane, and Nitrous oxide traps heat and light of the Sun in the Earth atmosphere and increases Earth temperature. These gases are produced by the human activities.

Driving of motor vehicles, increase of industrial sector is major cause of increase in Green house gases. Deforestation is also one of the reasons for Global warming. Population is increasing as a result trees are being cut down for dwelling purpose. Trees take Carbon dioxide and provide Oxygen to the atmosphere. But because of cut down of trees, layer of Carbon dioxide is increasing in the atmosphere.

We do not see much effect of Global warming at present. But if situation remains the same then our next generation will pay for our deeds.

Earth will be much hotter than it was before. Glaciers melt and oceans warm, which results into flood, tsunami, tornado etc. It will affect weather very severely; as a result life of the earth becomes affected. As an effect of global warming various new diseases have emerged lately. These diseases are occurring due to the increase in Earth’s average temperature since the bacteria can survive better in high temperatures.

Global warming has become a major topic of discussion. Even entertainment industry has raised this issue. There are some movies which show this issue very seriously like “The Day After Tomorrow” which addressed the issue of modern Ice age. In many of the developed countries Global warming has acquired a political status. They are trying different ways to prevent it. We a developing country need to show some effort to prevent Global warming. If there is not much then just by informing people about it, and its causes, we can help prevent global warming in some way. As people will think twice before doing anything that has direct impact on Global warming.
