Introduction

I work for a small computer software and consulting company called Binarytree. Binarytree produces middleware software and provides consulting in the area of messaging integration, migration and coexistence services. The majority of organizations that use Binarytree services are companies that have a need to integrate companies into their existing messaging and collaboration environments. Because corporate acquisitions are on the raise across all industries Binarytree’s services have been in high demand.

Over the last two years cloud hosted email and collaboration services have become major service offering among industry leading software companies. Binarytree has established business partnerships with some of the top software and hosing companies, like Microsoft, IBM and Google. All three of these companies have email cloud and collaboration based service solution. Collaboration services are considered tools like, instant messaging, office suites, voice and video conferencing, project/intranet team room sites and blackberry/smart phone solutions. Binarytree has built software and business solutions that allow companies to easily migrate their local email and collaboration data to a cloud based service. Over the last few years Binarytree has migrated thousands of companies to a cloud solution for Microsoft, Google and IBM (Binarytree, 2010).
