As a part of internship program at IBS , I got a chance to with the Prestigious organization : India Infoline Ltd at its one of the offices situated at 8th Floor, Agrarwal Millennium Tower 2 Netaji Subhash Place, New Delhi.

India Infoline is a leading players in the Indian financial services space is a part of the IIFL (India Infoline) group. It is operational in area of broking, commodities, mutual fund and portfolio management services. It offers advice and as well as an execution platform for a gamut of financial services covering products ranging from equities and derivatives, wealth management , asset management, commodities, insurance, fixed deposits etc.

In this top leading organization i got the opportunity to learn the intricacies of the functioning of the Commodity market.During my internship I decided to work on the Project : "Commodity markets: Crude OIl and Its Determinants" with some objectives in mind like

• To understand the scope in international and domestic market

• To understand the opportunities present in the field.

• To study the operations, functions of commodity markets

• To get an overview of financial factors along with Macro and Micro economic factors affecting the commodity – Crude Oil

• To study the various risks involved and the mitigation techniques

This project is focused on studying and analysing the factors affecting Crude Oil price fluctuations with a financial and economic outlook.India being an agriculture based economy and along with the trending success of commodity markets of MCX and NCDEX there is huge potential to tap the growing opportunities. t was interesting to learn about the evolution of the commodity markets in the world and later in India.The various reforms...
