CHAPTER 4 ASSIGNMENT
1. The front desk should held a pivotal position of importance in the lodging operation.
It is one of the first points of contact with the guest, and, as such, its ambience sets the tone for the hotel.The front desk should be positioned so that it accommodates the guest while enabling
employees to work efficiently.The position of the front desk is usually determined by the main entrance of the building
and the location of the elevator.
The layout of computerized equipment centers on guest service and employees efficiency:

2. The position of the front office is important because it helps ensure a safe environment for the guest. It helps by the factor that anyone and everyone who goes in and out can be seen by the front office. Positioning the front desk on the same side as the main entrance and the elevator is not recommended.
3. The evolving role of computer in hotel industry is getting bigger and bigger now a days. Every department in a Hotel should have a computer because it is use to save important files from the information of the guest. Fidelio a software that helps Hotel to make there job more easily.
4. A good property management has to be a good team which they can see all the aspects of operation, input on the over all objectives and last but not the lease they should be aware what are the need of the guest. It helps because without it the hotel will be on miss management.
5. Because by performing the needs analysis it will determine what should be bought and it should has a purpose.
