The fight against Global Warming is becoming more and more serious. Communities across the country are now joining together in the fight against Global Warming. In the past few years people from all over are stepping up to make this country aware of the seriousness concerning Global Warming. Global Warming did not just happen over night or on its own. Through time we (society) have been driving are climate to change by polluting are air with coal and oil. With advertisements such as “Go Green”, and “Save the Planet”, only one can take notice and see that this is a growing issue in our country. Our country is at risk for a major global catastrophe if our Government will not start taking actions to put a stop to this. How safe is your community with all this toxic waste and pollution in the air. Is it right for the coal plants to come in your community and dump their poisonous fumes in the air which ultimately you will die from? Who can we (society) turn to for help? In Appalachia, (Greenpeace, USA) the coal industry is using 3 ½ million pounds of explosives a day blasting homes as well as their water because it happens to be the cheapest way to get coal. Residents now have to travel 30 miles outside their home just to get decent water. Their children are getting sick and women are unable to carry full-term babies...
