Narrator: A very good morning to one and all. We are all fascinated by attractive things and think them to be what we expect them to be. But it is not so always. Appearances are deceptive. All that glitters is not gold. Here is a play that shall prove the afore-mentioned adage with utmost accuracy. Mr. Ghamorilal, the protagonist of the play, suffers from constant itching because of which he remains much stressed. He ultimately finds a cure for his problem which promises good results but things do not go in the expected manner. Watch the play to find out what happens exactly.

Ghamorilal: (itching his body parts) Oh ho! This itching will make me mad. When shall this itching leave me? I am tired of it. Morning to evening, I do nothing but itching. My comb and key, brush and broom have all lost their use. They are used by me, only for one thing ant that is for itching.

I have to go to a marriage party tonight. What shall I wear? A coat…nah…It will make itching difficult. I would rather wear a simple t-shirt.

[Exit Ghamorilal]

[In the party]

Bridegroom: Ghamorilal, my friend, why are you so late?

Ghamorilal: Nothing but this traffic jam. You know the road conditions of Howrah. Here is a gift for you and your wife. Where is she?

Bridegroom: She is my wife.

Ghamorilal: Hi, this one’s for you. [Suddenly itching starts] Again this itching…this will make me mad. [He takes the gift and starts itching with it. Bride gets scared]

Bride: What the hell are you doing…trying to outrage my modesty?

Ghamorilal: No…no…it’s just one of those bad itchings…ah it’s getting worse. [Lifts a plate and starts itching with it]

Bridegroom: Guards, throw him out.

Scene 2
