On December 11th 2008 two year old Caylee Marie Anthony’s skeletal remains were found in a wooded area In Florida wrapped in three black plastic bags. Her mother Casey Anthony 22 at the time was named a suspect in October, 2008. She was first arrested July 16th 2008 on suspicion of falsifying statements to police about her daughter’s mysterious disappearance. She was soon after released on bail, and arrested once again but this time for the murder of her daughter on October 14th 2008. She is currently on trial awaiting her jury deliberations.
The three sources CNN.com, MSNBC.com, and FOXNEWS.com are full of information about the Casey Anthony murder trial. Each site provides bits, and pieces of different information, and links to read. FOXNEWS.com provides an informational link “Casey Anthony trial closings set for Sunday”, and a video link “Casey Anthony trial closings set for Sunday”. Each link provides different yet equally important pieces of information of before, and during the trial. The links from CNN.com review the trial from beginning to end with information on the opening arguments from both the prosecutors, and the defense, to information of the George Anthony’s alleged affair, and the fact that Casey Anthony will not be taking the stand in the trial. MSNBC provides more detailed information such as the fact that during the 31 days that Caylee was missing, Casey was out going to the bars, parties, and getting a tattoo of “beautiful life” in Italian.
