Explain how self-managed teams could be used at Sandwich Blitz to allow Dalman more time to devote to growing the business.

Self-managed teams is the type of management style would help Dalman and Lei to concentrate on more time taking care of business matters that are relevant to help the business grow. I believe it would also allow Dalman and Lei to avoid devoting most of their time attending to small and inconvenient matters of management. By assigning managers under Dalman and Lei’s level, the self-managed teams would be better equipped to handle day to day activities. This would involve training the self-managed teams to better plan and determine what type of training would help them manage their daily responsibilities. Once the self-managed teams are trained and assigned the ultimate goal would be to reduce Dalmans involvement in having to go visit the operating locations and addressing manager operation concerns, And Lei would be able to completely concentrate on the financial matters of the company without being disturbed. The end result would be that with the self-managed teams they will successfully end with good results and be able to devote their time and take the business to the next level.

In order for self-managed teams to work, training will need to be provided to help teams regroup and to do most or all of the jobs in the unit. The self-managed teams will learn to reach that point of being truly self managed and become comfortable with a new level of authority. This type of atmosphere leads to many positive benefits; like improved labor relations, improved employee morale and improved performance levels. It will also build trust and inspire teamwork because they will be making group decisions that will develop individual performance, Not only will it develop individual performance it will help them to solve conflicts without needing to go to top management to solve the issues it will also...
