InterClean has undergone a lot of change through the merger with EnviroTech, Incorporated. Thanks to a successful media blitz and the companies’ vision, InterClean is a pioneer in all-inclusive cleaning service packages.

To remain competitive in a rapidly changing industry, we need to stay ahead of the game. In order to provide the team with the skills needed there will be information available on the following key areas: (i) how a manager’s behavior can impact worker productivity, (ii) management actions that are in line or out of line with employment laws, (iii) the best practices for working within a diverse working environment.

Fact: A manager’s behavior can impact the productivity of his or her workers.

Here are some ways to improve employee productivity:

Make sure employees know what is expected of them. Discuss InterClean’s mission and how they can achieve company goals.

Improve quality of work life (QWL) by flexible schedules, increased benefits, and competitive pay.

Use a democratic style of leadership to inspire confidence and build skills.

Fit the right people to the right job. Talk to Carol Stanley or Janet Durham about employee test results. If they have a positive “can-do” attitude, put them in sales or customer service. Develop talent through training.

Listen to their needs and make them feel their opinion is important.

Promote a team-like environment and group people together in teams. People are naturally competitive and want to do well.

Give praise when it is due. Focus on their strengths and not their weaknesses.

Provide them with the proper tools and equipment to do the job.

Help employees feel they have contributed their best every day.
