American History X

American History X showed the battling war against the black and white race in everyday life. This has become a major issue in the world and this movie shows how we should stop the hate and move on.

American History X was a great movie. The actors did a great job showing how the black and white hate has become in America. I believe that this has been a growing issue for some time. People need to watch this movie to understand the full concept of the issue that goes on in the world today. I would rate this movie a 10 and for everyone to watch to understand how things in the world are.

In this movie you have a gang of white supremacist gang members who cannot stand black people. This movie starts off showing how the whites and the blacks share a basketball court to hang out and play. Then it takes a twisting turn when the blacks do not want the whites there. This allows them to match up and see who would win playing basketball. If they won then the other would not be able to step foot on the court again. I think that no matter what the race of a person is you should be able to play basketball together no matter if you hate one another you should be able to share the court with each other and play basketball. Well they did there match up and once it finished the white’s won the basketball game. This is where the movie took a turn downhill for the worst. Edward Norton and his little brother where at home sleeping when the little brother heard someone breaking in to one of the vehicles. This lead to the older brother getting up with a pistol to go outside and see what is going on. The black people they played on the court earlier were outside breaking into Edwards’s truck. This lead to him shooting at one of the black men as they were trying to escape. Well one of the guys did not escape and what Edward did to that guy was the worst thing ever. He made him bite the curb and then Edward kicked the back of his head which killed him. This is something that is ongoing in...
