Two years of UPLB Life, without any vacation even social life--pure study thing. An opportunity was given to me by Arnel Pineda Foundation--a Christmas Vacation with my mother and sister in Bicol. A gift we first ever received from them.

Several weeks before Christmas, I am expecting that, again, I can no longer make it to Bicol. Celebrating the season with Kuya Guard and UP Police at Forestry Residence Hall would happen again. But that year (2010) was different, a call from APF was received by me; my mother and I were so overwhelmed that they offered us a gift.

My journey begins on how I can make it to Ali Mall, without even going to Cubao riding with a passenger bus before. After a tiring hours spent on searching that specific place, I made it there before the meeting time with Ms. Laiza. After a talk with her, the comeback journey to Camarines Sur starts at exactly 8:30pm. It was my first time to ride with a Class A bus.

The moment I got to Naga City, my sister was there to take me to our new place at Ocampo, Camarines Sur. Two years ago, we reside at Naga City and I was informed by them that the moved already to place to place already. From Naga, another hour was spent by us to go to that municipality.

The rain falls the moment I saw my mother. She is crying when I was left then crying again when I came back. We had the whole day on telling stories with each other. Two years of experience in UPLB life brought happiness to my mother. She said that she is very proud that I am studying on that specific uniververisity; She always saying that, "Kapag ikaw anak ay nakatapos, masayang masaya na si Mama."

We also talked about APF. She is very thankful to their gift to us. The moment I got there, I gave all of the money to her, and we decided that we must spent that amount wisely. So, we talked about my mother's credit line in the nearby store, and we pay that first. It was so good to celebrate Christmas without anything to worried about, financially. =(even...
