An environmental scan of the internal environment identifies the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis of Kudler Fine Foods.
Strengths:
One of the major strengths of Kudler Fine Foods is its product variety. Kudler offers gourmet and top-quality fine foods to its customers. The superb quality of its products has earned Kudler Fine Foods a prestigious reputation in its operating area, which has garnered its ability to present premium pricing for its products meeting that criteria and its specialty foods.
Weakness:
The primary weakness of Kudler Fine Foods is its scarce presence. The company has not established itself as a nationwide retailer; therefore, geographical presence is limited to a local area. It does not possess the limitless resources in comparison to its competitors of larger nationwide chains, as such, it competition is incomparable to those major enterprises.
Opportunities:
Greater opportunities exist in light of its popularity based upon its strong brand reputation and top-quality products for an expansion beyond its local territories into newer regions. Kudler Fine Foods has the ability to elevate its brand with its existing product mix, top-quality products brand reputation to expand into newer territories and product groups.
Threats:
