Hello Natalie,

This week has been a very educational week I have learned many new concepts that I was unaware of . I learned the historical development of environment movement newest part developed in the late 1960s, the first wave, go after in the late 1980s by a second wave. In the first wave, a understanding started to emerge of the association among population growth and pollution level increases. Until currently, there was not a general willingness to acknowledge a potential resource shortage as this would have signified a limit to economic growth. I also learned the difference between doing, and reporting science and the effect of the human population on the environment. I find that science is a ongoing process whose actual value is change in ideas and reporting science has a different way to look at the universe. Because science does not report or deal with those things that cannot be tested by observation. Science report bases on possibilities, minimum principle to statement disapproval. After that we discuss how the human population is effecting the environment. I never realized that the growing human population is an issue that is causing environmental problems throughout the world from developed to developing countries. One of the growing population challenges is that so many people presence sharing a number of limited resources strains the environment and this factor make worse or even increase the negative effects of other economic, social, and political factors. I will definitely be able to apply what I have learned in my everyday life.  In reality, we have to aim for a society where waste can be recycled...
