Recognition is one of the things that every mortal being requires in life. Because of the need, for recognition there exists several ways in which people are recognized. Some of the way in which people are recognized is through pecuniary compensation, while others are recognized by making a ceremony. Some of people are given rewards and given a global recognition, it is because of the above mentioned and lack of recognition that there came several methods of recognizing the people who have contributed to the success of the community by using different talents bestowed in them. It is in this regard that, this paper is aimed at nominating a figure from the 20th century; that has performed artistic work in the modernization world as well as the pluralism age for the prestigious 20th century genius award.

A synopsis of the individual’s life and times

Eugine was born in the 19th day of august, year 1921 in a place called El Paso in Texas (Engel, 1994). He was brought up in Los Angeles with his family where he father was in the police force. While in Los Angeles he studied, being a police officer with time his interest shifted to aeronautical engineering within no time he acquired a pilot license. He continued with his flying career until a certain time when he saw his first television. Immediately something dawned on him that the television at the near future would require writers. He directly went to Hollywood when it was still in its initial stages. In the initial stages he started as a freelance writer and it is during this period that he wrote several scripts some of which include, highway patrol will travel and have gun. He proceeded with writing his personal television program by the name the lieutenant (Engel, 1994). He created star trek where he laid his base in Hollywood.
