List Steps to Access the Ols

• List the steps you would take to access OLS.

You must log in to your students website>

Click Materials>

And from there you should be at the OLS.

• How do you access the Main forum?

Click the Discussion link>

Select Main in the Forums menu

• How do you access your Individual forum?

Click the Discussion link>

Select the Individual Forum in the Forums menu

• How did you find the Orientation Workshop readings?

You must log in to your students website>

Click Materials>

Under Course Outline forum you should see the name Orientation

• Where must you post your assignments?

First, select the Assignment tab >

Select the week number of the assignment >

Click the Assignment Title link for the assignment>

Click Browse to upload the assignment and your done!

• Where do class discussions for participation take place?

This take place in the Main area where you discuss about certain threads that the instructor gives you to talk about.

• What do you need to do to read replies to messages in the Main forum?

In the main forum under the threads all you need to do is click on the link and it show what the message says.

• What steps would you take to reply to a message in the Main forum?

Click the message to which you want to reply>

Click Reply>

Compose a reply in the message body>

When you finish, click Post Message.

• How can you recognize a message posted by your facilitator?

There will be a Graduation Cap next to the posted Thread by the instructor.

• How can you identify a discussion question thread?

There will be a Question mark icon circle next to the posted thread.

• How do you identify a message posted by you?

Under the thread box there’s a column that’s named under “Author”. There you will see your name.
