Natural Gas

Natural Gas is a fossil fuel that is found in the earth. Natural Gas was formed beneath the earth surface. As of now Natural Gas is very convenient and efficient. It is made up of two elements, Carbon and Hydrogen. It is part of a family of chemicals known as hydrocarbons, which also includes oil and gasoline. It is odorless and colorless and produces very few emissions. Natural Gas is considered to be the cleanest fossil fuel because of its clean burning qualities. Natural Gas begins by coming out of the ground as a gas and when other hydrocarbons are recovered it is then mixed together in a liquid called crude oil.

Natural Gas works by using nonrenewable resources such as fuel and coal to produce the energy. Then it is able to be used in homes around the country. Natural gas accounts for more than twenty-four percent of the energy used in the United States. Some house hold appliances that uses Natural Gases are furnaces, pool and spa heaters ,outdoor lights ,water heaters, fireplace logs and patio heaters and fire pits are a few. It is regularly used in residential, commercial and industrial places. In many homes the house and water are heated by gas, the food is cooked with it and clothes are dried because of Natural Gas being used. It is very effective for the use for homes that requires gas, which is more than one half of the American homes, because more than 66 million homes rely on gas. It is increasing in cooling and electric power generation.

Natural Gas compared to other gases is a major difference. Although it is said that Natural Gas should be decrease because it is a limited natural resource, it is very expensive to liquefy and transport and Liquid Natural Gas ports raises safety concerns, because of the possibility of accidents or explosions, I disagree.
