Starbucks has 2400 coffee shops and more than 200 shops in other countries. Below explains the relationship between organizational culture and organizational communication of Starbucks Corporation. Starbucks believes in six guiding principles that include providing an ideal work environment and treating each other with respect and dignity. Additionally, Starbucks embraces diversity as an essential component in the way they do business. Applying the highest standards of excellence to the purchasing, roasting, and fresh delivery of coffee is essential to the satisfaction of its customers. Starbucks also stands by its various missions that include: “develop enthusiastically satisfied customers all of the time, contribute positively to their communities and environment, recognize that profitability is essential to our future success” (Starbucks Global Responsibility Report, 2009).
