1. In PwC, we nurture a learning and development culture with the strong support of the efficient learning environment and coaching programmes. Please describe a specific achievement of you within a team and what you gained from it.
That was the first weekend in U.S. During the “Edge Weekend” (This program, which focus on improving interpersonal skills, leadership skills and problem solving skills, is organized every year in Daniels College ), I dared to share my thoughts, my teammates encouraged me to express my ideas and feelings. When I was the leader in our team, they provided some helpful suggestions to me, such as, be a little more effective, let them know which way to go, be a little louder and don’t be shy.
After that, I opened my mouth. For example, during a discussion in our meeting, I was the organizer of my own initiative. And finally, I mastered the situation of our debate. In fact, during this debate, I was indeed a little nervous. But because of this experience, I am bolder and more sociable than before.
2. PwC sets priority on developing our people's project management skills in accordance with client expectations and professional standards. Please identify and a major activity/project you undertook and describe what it was and how you managed the project.
Actually, my insight color is yellow, and tends to be more passionate and organized. But for projects, it depends.
Here, I just take my Business Intelligence Practicum as an example. The first two detailed steps are as follows:
1. Create a schedule to my project, which includes weeks of the quarter, readings, software and detailed assignments. Based on those stuffs, I can finish this project timely and effectively.
2. Gather needed materials and software and contact instructors. This step is the good foundation of my project.
Therefore, this is how I work and my personal way to manage a project.
