External Environment Analysis:-

Pest Analysis of India:-

1) Political:-

A) Biggest Democracy: - India is the biggest democratic country in the world. After independence, many political parties had ruled the country. Even though the country has obtained significance in world because for its natural, spiritual, human resources and strategic industrial & external relations and planning. Poverty is the main problem of the democratic country. All Politicians with no regard to the parties had attempted in their level to reduce the poverty in the country. Many pro poor polices were well promoted, but were of no use. This is where India is still lacking behind.

B) Fair Amount of Political Stability: - The Federal Government of India has been led by the Indian National Congress (INC). State politics have been dominated by several national parties including the INC, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Communist Party of India (CPI), and various other parties. The government has been stable from the year 2003 and is expected to be stable in the future also. There are no issues with political stability of the government.

C) Taxation Policy:- The only problem with the taxation policy is the high excise and custom duties, but this will not cause any problem in launching the Coffee House. But the other Taxes are very high in India compared to other countries. Some of the Taxation Policies could cause a problem. But there are no issues regarding the Foreign Direct Investment. So, this is a positive point.

Politically India is a stable country. The taxation policy is also good. So, there should not be any problem regarding the political factor for launching the Coffee House.

2) Economical: -

According to the reports of the Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific, the Indian economy will grow 8.7% in 2011.
