1. Consider the following statement: The most complicated problems in dealing with cultural environment stem from the fact that we cannot learn culture, we have to live it. In practical terms, explain what this means for international marketers

International marketing is the performance of business activities designed to plan, price, promote, and direct the flow of a company’s goods and services to consumers or user in more than one country for a profit. Then only minor and key difference between domestic and international marketing is international marketing is “in more than one country.” This can account for complexity and diversity found in operations.

A marketers’ task is universally the same; their goal is to make a profit by promoting pricing and distributing products and/ or services for which there is a market. However the most complicated problems in dealing with cultural environments stem from the fact that we cannot learn culture, we have to live it.

The most traditional definitions of culture (as outlined by the text) center around the notion that culture is the sum of the values, rituals, symbols, beliefs, and thought processes that are learned and shared by a group of people, then transmitted from generation to generation.
