Subject: Student Loan New Hires

Taking on a new client such as USA Group will require hiring new employees to handle the enormous amount of accounts that are placed with PRS on a weekly basis. With the recent influx of student loan accounts, the organization will increase its goals and objectives within doing so the number of employees needed for the student loan project and employee responsibility will have to increase.

As a collection representative on the student loan project will be required to do a number of tasks on a daily basis. The new potential employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Other functions that would be essential for the position is to have the ability to Skip Trace, Negotiate, and follow federal and state guidelines when attempting to resolve the past due accounts. In addition, the employee must have a minimum of 3 years prior work experience in the student loan industry, with the necessary knowledge about student loan programs, and have experience with an automated telephone dialing system. Associate's degree in business preferred.  Must be detail oriented. The employee will be required to pass a drug-screening test and background check, which is a requirement from USA Group.

The position details will require the collector to collected on past due student loan account. These past due accounts are 180-430 days delinquent with limited personal information on the accounts. Other necessary requirements will include the ability to have a variety of collection techniques to overcome objectives from customers with overdue accounts.
