1 - Using NORTON GHOST 2003 to set up operating systems

I set up Windows operating system fast by using program that is called GHOST. This program prevented the waste of time because it contains everything that users need and sets up Windows in a better way. If we want to set up Windows, we have to follow these steps. First of all, we open the NORTON GHOST 2003, then from the menu we choose Local > Partition > From Image.

After that, we select the image file from the disk. Image file can be different because there are lots of departments in the hospital and all of these services need different programs. Therefore, technical service stuff has different image files.

After this step, there will be the screen that asks which harddisk is selected. There will be more than one harddisk because we connect the harddisk which will be set up operating system image to the computer whose duty is only setting up operating system image. By the way, there are two types of harddisk which has different data transport technology such as SATA or IDE.

Picture which is on the left side shows that there is a connected harddisk which has IDE data transport technology and picture which is on the right side shows that there is a connected harddisk which has SATA data transport technology.

After all these, there will be two other screen which are about confirmation. We just click OK and we move next step.

Then operating system image will be set up. Finally we eject the harddisk which was set up operating system image, then we can connect it to the computer and restart the computer. When we start the computer, then operating system image begins to working and we will establish the operating system.
